This issue is compounded for youths who also experience other adverse childhood experiences ACEs like physical trauma, poverty and systemic racism. Clearly, providing support to this vulnerable population should be a priority. Nine out of ten young people report having been harassed at school because of their sexual orientation.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Histories. The project was developed with the intent to enrich popular understandings of modern American LGBTQ histories through the lens of a state underrepresented in this area of scholarship.
